Cruise # 48- Lower Danube River Cruise in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia & Hungary Onboard "Avalon Passion"- August, 2016

For our 11th River Cruise we sailed the Lower Danube which went through some Eastern European Countries. Definitely not the most scenic of Europe's Rivers (except for awesome Budapest!) so we wouldn't recommend it for your 1st taste of a Europe River Cruise but once you've done the others it's for sure an interesting part of the World to check out! Once we ended our time in Bucharest we headed a little over an hour outside of the city to board our ship in Oltenita, Romania... after sailing a few hours that evening the next morning we awoke in Rousse to get our 1st taste of Bulgaria.
